U17 girls win

Under 17 girls recorded a good win against Oblates away Sunday morning. Girls took a quick lead and although Oblates never gave up Lions girls always had too much and ran out deserving winners

U18 boys v Eanna (Cup)

Our young Lions U18 men came out on top of a tight game with Eanna in Moyle Park last night in the cup quarter final. Lions started the brighter of the two teams and got out to an early lead but Eanna battled their way back to lead by a point at the half. Turnovers looked like they might cost the home team in the end but some well timed 3 pointers gave Lions back the lead which they held until the final whistle to win by the slimmest of margins 64-63.

Coach Rob and the boys are still looking for their forst win of the season and take on Killorglin CYMS at home this Saturday. KCYMS lie two places above us in the league and hopefully the lads can register their forst win of the season and get the ball rolling. #GoLions
